Codigo Nuevo’s podcast “Es lo que hay” started out as an unfiltered, fun, no-nonsense space where we said out loud what many people only whisper in group chats. 

From the very first episode, it hit the mark: with an average of 50,000 views per episode and over a million views on YouTube and TikTok shorts. People laughed, cried, commented, and kept coming back.
I wrote every episode—the topics, the narrative arcs, the questions, and the punchlines—and co-hosted all the conversations. I also handled all the art direction: the visual identity, the set design, and the on-camera aesthetics. 

We didn’t do it to play it safe. We did it to make it eye-catching, sincere, and authentic. And it worked.
