my role: Campaign Design
Some breakups hurt. Others just leave you with… stuff. That hoodie, that mug, that plant they left behind. We teamed up with Tinder to turn heartbreak into a marketplace.
The idea? Help people officially move on by letting go of objects carrying emotional baggage on Wallapop, of course.
We launched a live event in Plaza Pedro Zerolo (Madrid): the first-ever EX-posición, a two-day activation where people brought their exes’ “cursed” items and listed them on Wallapop.
We built a pop-up installation, handed out “I’ve moved on” certificates, and turned the most emotional listings into real-time content. The campaign blew up on social media after a viral tweet reignited the ex debate and we jumped on it fast.
Cheeky, cathartic, and empowering because moving on is hard, but selling your ex’s stuff for a few euros? That’s healing.
